Mobile Broadband.
Its called Mobile Broadband, although really its better to consider it as internet access on the move, or mobile internet access, as rarely is it as fast as genuine Broadband. It is faster than "dial up" though.
This internet access is provided by the various mobile phone companies, and is provided via a "Dongle" that has a mobile sim card inside. This is completely separate from any sim card you may have in your phone. Because they use the mobile network, then service will be similar to reception on your mobile phone, ie, they will not work properly if in a poor reception area.
Different providers have different tariffs, however, one thing that they all have in common is that you can see how much of your usage has been used at any given time. These dongles are available in both Pay as you Go and Pay Monthly options.
I can help you set up your dongle and get you online, this can usually be done within one hour, but sometimes can take upto 2 hours. Rest assured though, if you would like me to help set this up with you then 2 hours would be the maximum visit charge.
